Abuse

There are many forms of cruelty that an animal can suffer, some of which are not readily recognized by the public.  These include continuous tethering, lack of adequate food, water or shelter, neglect, abandonment, beating, intentional fighting and any other situation which puts an animal in harm’s way.  LAW asks that if, at any time, the public questions the treatment of an animal to please contact the local Animal Control agency or the local police department.  LAW recognizes the need for stronger laws concerning the protection of animals and the punishment of those found to be guilty of cruelty.
